PURCHASE LEDGER ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-driven individual to join a well-established and growing business based in the Aston area. This Purchase Ledger position is ideally suited to someone with a solid background in a similar role. Someone who is looking to further develop their skills within a stable & professional environment within a SME business. 

Working as part of a small close-knit finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained. The role offers broad exposure across the finance function, with regular interaction with clients and suppliers and involvement in month-end processes.

Day to Day Duties :

• Reporting to the Finance Manager on site
• Getting involved with all aspects of the day to day duties
• Processing purchase Invoices 
• Matching Invoices to PO's and POD's 
• Managing Accounts
• Processing Supplier payments
• Speaking to Clients and suppliers
• Chasing payments
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Invoicing and Invoice chasing

Experience and Skills required:

• You must have 2-3 years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger Role 
• Experience using Access / Dimensions preferred but not essential
• Be an advanced user of Excel , capable of manipulating data.
• Feel confident working in a fast-paced and busy work environment allowing you to do your job effectively.
• Exceptional organisational skills allowing you to track and maintain ledgers and your day-to-day tasks as well as having a strong eye for detail.

This will be a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate. Working Monday – Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Fridays 8.30am-1.30pm – 34.5 hours a week

Pay £15.60ph depending on experience
