1:1 Classroom Support

Milk Education is recruiting for a mainstream primary school in Liverpool (L21 area). The staff team is committed to creating a nurturing, structured, and aspirational environment where every child can thrive.

We are seeking a strong academic Learning Support Assistant to join the team and support the delivery of high‑quality learning across the school. This role combines focused 1:1 academic support alongside general classroom responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil on Mondays and Fridays
• Work as a general classroom Teaching Assistant across various subjects for the remainder of the week
• Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils
• Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging learning activities
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour
• Differentiate and adapt learning support to meet individual needs

• Resilient, patient, and nurturing
• Passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH / SEN needs
• A strong communicator and an effective team player
