EHS AssistantWorksop | £28,000–£30,000 DOE | 36 hours per week | Permanent Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:00pm | Friday: 8:00am–2:00pm Looking to move your warehouse experience into Health & Safety?We’re recruiting for an EHS Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing business in Worksop. This could be a great opportunity for someone who has worked in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or operational environment, has some experience with administration and paperwork, and has an interest in Health & Safety and making sure people work safely. You don’t need to be an experienced Health & Safety professional. What matters is that you understand how a busy operational environment works, are confident speaking to people, are organised and have a genuine interest in developing your career in Health, Safety and Environmental (EHS). You’ll work closely with the experienced EHS Manager, learning the role as you go and gaining exposure to all areas of site safety and environmental compliance. What will you be doing?This is a hands-on role, with around 60% of your time spent out in the warehouse and operational areas and 40% completing admin and office-based work. A Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous, but is not essential. If you're interested in pursuing NEBOSH, this could be an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience alongside your qualification.
