SCREEN PRINTER – PERMANENT ROLE

Location: Birmingham, B21
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm | Friday 7:30am–11:30am
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Screen Printer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Birmingham.

This is a permanent opportunity working within a busy production environment, producing high-quality industrial printed products for customers across the aerospace, automotive and manufacturing sectors.

The Role:

• Setting and operating manual and semi-automatic screen printing equipment
• Preparing screens, inks and materials for production
• Mixing inks and matching colours to customer requirements
• Printing onto a range of metal and plastic materials
• Ensuring correct registration, colour accuracy and print quality
• Carrying out first-off and ongoing quality inspections
• Identifying print defects and resolving quality issues
• Cleaning screens and equipment following production runs
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining high housekeeping and Health & Safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous screen printing or print production experience is essential
• Good colour recognition and strong attention to detail
• Experience setting or operating screen printing equipment
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to follow production paperwork and work instructions
• Reliable, punctual and able to work accurately in a busy environment

Experience within industrial screen printing, particularly printing onto metal or plastic substrates, would be highly advantageous.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday – 7:30am–4:30pm
Friday – 7:30am–11:30am

Pay:

From £12.71 per hour
