Nursing Home Manager Opportunity – Macclesfield

Are you an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager or Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity?

We are recruiting a Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established luxury nursing home in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager or Registered Manager to join a respected provider with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional nursing, dementia and palliative care.

We would ideally like to hear from a nurse-qualified Nursing Home Manager (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN. However, we are also happy to consider an experienced Care Home Manager or Registered Manager who is not nurse qualified, provided they have a successful track record managing a nursing home and leading clinical teams.

The home has a Good CQC rating, an experienced team and excellent support from senior leadership.

The Role

As the Nursing Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership, clinical governance and operational performance of the home.

The successful Care Home Manager or Registered Manager will ensure outstanding standards of care while supporting and developing a committed multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

As Nursing Home Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the nursing home.
• Ensure continued compliance with CQC regulations.
• Maintain and improve quality standards across the service.
• Deliver excellent clinical governance and quality assurance.
• Support residents receiving nursing, dementia, residential and end-of-life care.
• Lead, coach and develop nurses, carers and senior staff.
• Manage staffing, occupancy, budgets and overall home performance.
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and commissioners.
• Promote a positive, person-centred culture throughout the home.

Requirements

To be considered for this Nursing Home Manager position you should have:

• Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager or Registered Manager within a nursing home.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations, governance and compliance.
• Experience leading nursing home services for older people.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• A passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.

Preferred

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience managing a Good or Outstanding CQC-rated nursing home.

Also Considered
