Overview

A highly respected and well known manufacturing brand in Doncaster are seeking multiple maintenance engineering professionals to complete their successful engineering function on shift. At present, there are opportunities for both electrical or mechanical bias maintenance engineers to join the team.

The role focuses on performing planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks across a wide variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance of the plant in line with health, safety, and quality standards, while driving improvements across the site.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Respond quickly to unscheduled plant stoppages to minimize downtime.
• Utilise system for recording labour, materials, and performing planned maintenance tasks.
• Safely and efficiently repair plant equipment and services
• Participate in maintaining the overall efficiency of the maintenance department, including tool management, housekeeping, and spare parts control
• Work within budget guidelines and seek cost-reduction opportunities
• Identify and pursue personal development and training opportunities
• Share and implement best practices within a process driven industry.

Skills/Experience Required

• A recognised engineering apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical engineering field.
• Industrial/ manufacturing industry experience.
• This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of a vital production facility.
