The Role

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full academic, social, and emotional potential. Your responsibilities will include :

• Supporting teaching and learning across a range of curriculum subjects
• Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups
• Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Assisting children with SEND and other barriers to learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in the classroom
• Supporting lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold a 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve this)
• Have studied Education, Psychology, English, Maths, or a related subject (desirable)
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional attitude
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's education and development
• Be eager to gain hands-on school-based experience
• Be considering a future career within education
• Have the right to work in the UK
