A high-performing secondary school in Brent is seeking ambitious and academically strong graduates to join their teaching team as Graduate Unqualified Teachers. The school is particularly interested in graduates who can support core curriculum subjects and who demonstrate excellent academic achievement throughout their education.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Achieved a 2:1 degree or above from a Russell Group University
  • Degree subjects must be in:
    • Core academic subjects (English, Maths, Sciences, Humanities, MFL)
    • Education
    • Psychology
    • Sociology
    • Or other closely related academic disciplines
  • Applicants with degrees in non-relevant subjects such as Law, Business, Musical Theatre, Performing Arts, etc. will not be considered
  • Must have completed all education in the UK, including:
    • GCSEs
    • A-Levels
    • Degree
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Strong academic profile throughout education
  • Genuine interest in education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Role

  • Supporting pupils across KS3–KS5
  • Delivering lessons and interventions under guidance from experienced teachers
  • Providing academic mentoring and classroom support
  • Opportunity to progress into teacher training in the future
