The Role:

• Full classroom responsibility for either Year 2 (KS1) or Year 5 (KS2) with structured ECT support

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Support pupils in preparing for key assessments (KS1 SATs in Year 2 / Upper KS2 progression in Year 5)

• Create an inclusive, nurturing and high-achieving learning environment

• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress with guidance from experienced mentors

• Work collaboratively with support staff, phase leaders and senior leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• A graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Currently completing or recently completed teacher training (ECT status)

• Strong academic background and secure curriculum knowledge

• Placement experience within KS1 (Year 2) or KS2 (Year 5)

• Confident, reflective and eager to develop as a classroom practitioner

• Passionate about delivering high-quality primary education

• Organised, proactive and committed to pupil progress

• Available to start immediately
