Our breakfast & afterschool club offers a variety of activities, from arts and crafts to sports and educational games, ensuring children are supported and entertained while parents are at work. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible individual to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating positive experiences for them.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting teachers and supporting students' learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, facilitating group activities, and assisting with group management. You will be creating close relationships with the students , therefore it is essential that you are passionate about getting the very best from the students and their learning, and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements for the role:

• Level 2 / 3 Qualification in Supporting and Learning in Schools is preferred
• Experience in a similar role is essential
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different learners
• Experience working in a Primary School

Your responsibilities will be but aren't limited to:

• Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, learning, and teamwork.
• Support children with homework or other educational tasks when needed.
• Encourage positive behavior and manage any challenges with patience and understanding.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members about children’s progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
