And right now, we’re looking for an Operations & Acceptance Manager. Based at our Capenhurst, Cheshire site you’ll be accountable for leading and motivating the Operations function within Urenco Nuclear Stewardship (UNS) to ensure that all operational commitments are delivered on time to cost & schedule in a safe and compliant manner. The O&AM will work with the wider UNS Leadership Team to develop and implement company strategy. The role of End User/operator for any new build projects that UNS are implementing e.g Centrifuge Dismantling Facility and Metals Processing Facility.

What will your day look like?

• To clearly define and maintain the procedural arrangements that will be used to operate UNS facilities.
• To ensure that all activities are carried out in a way that ensures a high standard of conventional safety in accordance with the HASAW Act and all other relevant Regulations
• To ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Case and in accordance with the limits and conditions described in the Environmental Permit
• To ensure that adequate supervision, instruction and training is provided to the operational teams, maintaining high levels of morale and effectiveness
• To coordinate operational commitments for UNS internal and external customers.
• To act as end user in the design of new facilities at the Capenhurst site.
