Experienced Order Picker / Packer

Location: Mansfield
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Picker / Packer for a busy food distribution operation in Mansfield.

This role involves picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Recent, hands-on picking and packing experience is essential. This is not an entry-level position.

Duties

• Picking orders using manual paper pick sheets

• Packing food and drink products using a tape gun

• Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch

• Handling products weighing up to 20kg

• Meeting daily productivity targets and maintaining a tidy workspace

Essential Requirements

• Recent warehouse picking and packing experience

• Experience reading manual pick sheets and using a tape gun

• Ability to work quickly without compromising accuracy

• Good physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout the shift

• Reliable attendance, good timekeeping and a consistent work history

Important: Applications from candidates without recent, relevant picking and packing experience, including manual pick sheets and tape gun use, will not be considered.
