Container Unloader – Heavy Lifting – AM & PM Shifts – Crick, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Container Unloaders to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, a choice of AM or PM shifts, Monday-to-Friday working, weekly pay, ongoing work and immediate starts within a busy warehouse environment.

£13.08–£14.38 Per Hour | AM & PM Shifts | Monday to Friday | No Weekends | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Container Unloader, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Loader, Loader and Unloader, Goods In Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Parcel Sorter or Loading Bay Operative.

Shifts

 • AM Shift: Monday to Friday, 6AM to 2PM
 • PM Shift: Monday to Friday, 2PM to 10PM
 • No weekend working

Rates of Pay

 • AM Shift: £13.08 per hour
 • PM Shift: £14.38 per hour
 • Overtime available

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Container Unloader, your duties will include:

 • Loading and unloading shipping containers and vehicles safely and efficiently
 • Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling of stock and materials throughout your shift
 • Supporting goods-in operations and unloading deliveries
 • Moving products to designated warehouse locations
 • Wrapping, labelling and preparing pallets for storage or dispatch
 • Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
 • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
 • Following all health and safety procedures and company standards

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Container Unloader, you will need:

 • Basic level of spoken and written English
 • Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
 • Good communication and teamwork skills
 • Good level of physical fitness due to regular heavy lifting and manual handling
 • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Container Unloader, Loader, Goods In Operative or Warehouse Assistant would be advantageous

Training Provided

 • Full assessment programme
 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
