Senior Recruitment Consultant

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our well-established driving recruitment team.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering a £30,000 annual salary, uncapped performance bonus, Monday to Friday working hours and excellent career progression opportunities.

You will be joining a thriving branch during an exciting period of growth, with the opportunity to make a significant commercial impact by developing new business opportunities and building strong client relationships.

This role would particularly suit applicants with previous experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Consultant, Business Development Consultant or Sales Consultant.

 • Monday to Friday
 • 8:00am – 5:00pm

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, your duties will include:

 • Proactively generating new business opportunities through outbound sales activity, lead generation and cold calling
 • Researching prospective clients and identifying key decision-makers
 • Introducing People Solutions' recruitment services to potential customers
 • Arranging client meetings, site visits and discovery calls to develop new business opportunities
 • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients
 • Following up with potential customers through telephone calls, emails and other communication channels
 • Re-engaging lapsed clients and developing relationships with previous customers
 • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates
 • Supporting business development planning and identifying opportunities for growth
 • Monitoring sales activity, reporting performance figures and working towards exceeding agreed targets and KPIs

Essential Skills

 • Previous experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development or a cold-calling environment
 • Proven experience generating new business opportunities and arranging client appointments
 • Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
 • Strong relationship-building skills with key decision-makers and stakeholders
 • Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
 • Confident and proactive approach to developing new business
 • Ability to manage your own workload and maintain an organised sales pipeline
 • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience within the recruitment industry
 • Experience developing new business within driving, transport or logistics recruitment
