TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. The school provides a learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities, with a focus on maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.

The school is looking to take on a flexible Cover Supervisor for day-to-day supply cover, with an immediate start available. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering pre-planned work in the absence of teaching staff, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification in Education, Teaching Support or a related field (desirable)

• Experience working with students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 within a UK secondary school

• Experience supervising classes, delivering pre-planned lessons or supporting teaching and learning

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A confident, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to supporting students and managing classroom activities
