Salary: £95 - £125 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream school in Kidderminster supporting pupils with Autism / ASD. The school provides an inclusive learning environment where pupils are supported to overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence and independence.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide classroom and individual support, work closely with teaching staff and adapt their approach to meet the needs of pupils with Autism.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an education setting

• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD

• Experience working within a mainstream school is desirable

• The ability to adapt support to meet individual learning needs

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
