Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND setting in the Chippenham area that provides a supportive and structured learning environment for pupils who require additional support. The setting takes an individual approach to education, helping pupils develop their confidence, emotional wellbeing and engagement with learning.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis with an Immediate Start. The successful SEND Teacher will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEMH and additional needs, using positive relationships and effective behaviour management to create a safe and productive classroom environment.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
• Experience adapting and differentiating learning to meet individual needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils
• A patient, resilient and consistent approach
