HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)

Chesterfield | £17.11 per hour | £25.66 overtime

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established business based in the Chesterfield area.

Shifts will be between Monday – Friday, starting at either 06:00am or 07:00am.

The Role:

  • Driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Loading and unloading where required
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
  • Following driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations

The Candidate:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience
  • Maximum 3 penalty points preferred
  • Manual driving experience
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Strong understanding of road safety and H&S

The Benefits:

  • £17.11 per hour
  • £25.66 per hour overtime after 36 hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 06:00am or 7:00am starts
  • Weekly pay
  • Temporary assignment
