Teacher Active is looking to expand our pool of enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work with our partner primary schools across NG8, Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

We work closely with a range of mainstream primary schools and regularly receive requirements for Teaching Assistants across EYFS, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2.

Opportunities can range from day-to-day flexible supply to short-term cover and longer-term placements, making this a great option whether you're looking for regular full-time work or more flexibility around your availability.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils within the classroom, working with small groups, providing 1:1 support or helping children who may need some additional encouragement with their learning.

The successful Teaching Assistant will ideally have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children
• Experience within a school, nursery or educational setting
• A good understanding of the UK Primary Curriculum
• Confidence supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, patient and proactive approach
• Flexibility and reliability when working across different schools
