Recycling Operative - Chelveston, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join our well-established client based in Chelveston, Northamptonshire on a full-time ongoing basis.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Waste Recycling Operative, Sorting Operative (Recycling) or Recycling Facility Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 - 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Recycling Operative are:

• Working on a recycling line handling fruit, vegetables and bakery goods
• Operating a cage lifter to maintain consistent product flow
• Separating food waste from packaging and checking for contaminants
• Loading and unloading trailers as required
• Carrying out general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including pressure washing
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Recycling Operative, you will need:

• Basic level of English
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• A good eye for detail
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in a food-waste environment

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
