Commis Chef - Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Our client, an award-winning events venue and visitor attraction near St Austell, is looking to recruit a Commis Chef to join their talented kitchen team.

This opportunity will initially be on a temporary basis, with the potential to secure a permanent full-time position after  2 weeks for the right candidates.

Hours

• Typical shifts: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Starts Monday 21 September to Friday 25 September -8am-4pm
• Some weekend work will be required
• Predominantly daytime hours, offering a healthy work/life balance

The Role

Working as part of a professional kitchen brigade, you will assist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality food for visitors, events and functions, ensuring consistently high standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Previous Kitchen assistant or Commis experience in a large volume cooking background
• Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
• Ability to work well within a team
• Reliable and professional approach
• Own transport desirable due to location
