Senior Landscape Architect | London | Full Time | Competitive Salary

Our client is an award-winning studio practice of creative and innovative landscape architects with offices in London and Manchester. Their work includes masterplanning, public realm design and green spaces, all focused on placemaking and wellbeing.

They are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect with 5–10 years’ professional experience to take a leading role in the planning, design and delivery of high-quality landscape projects.

The Role

You will lead the development and presentation of design concepts, prepare detailed drawings and reports, including Design and Access Statements, and oversee the production and quality of technical information. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, manage project workflows, contribute to tender processes and support successful project delivery through to site completion, including monitoring quality and compliance.

In addition to project leadership, you will play a key role in team development and business operations, mentoring junior staff, contributing to internal management and supporting business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design and delivery of landscape projects
  • Develop and present design concepts
  • Prepare detailed drawings and reports, including Design and Access Statements
  • Oversee the production and quality of technical information
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage project workflows
  • Contribute to tender processes
  • Support project delivery through to site completion
  • Monitor quality and compliance
  • Present to clients and lead consultations
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Contribute to internal management
  • Support business development initiatives

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience
  • Strong experience across all RIBA/LI work stages
  • Membership of the Landscape Institute (LI)
  • Actively working towards Chartership
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for design excellence

  • Landscape Institute Chartership (CMLI)
