The setting provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs, including Autism and ADHD.

The setting is looking for a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to provide day-to-day cover with an Immediate Start. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning and emotional development, manage challenging behaviour positively and help children and young people remain engaged within a safe and structured environment.

The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant or SEND qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism and ADHD
• Experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
