TeacherActive is working closely with mainstream primary schools across LS11, LS12 and LS13 and is looking to recruit a flexible Primary School Teacher for day-to-day cover from September.

The successful Primary School Teacher will cover classes across local schools when permanent members of staff are absent. As a Primary School Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned work, manage behaviour effectively, follow each school's policies and ensure pupils continue to make progress.

Day-to-day work is available alongside short-term and long-term assignments, with opportunities to secure permanent positions through our schools.

The successful Primary School Teacher will have:

• UK QTS

• Experience within UK primary schools

• Strong curriculum knowledge

• Effective behaviour management

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Ability to quickly adapt to different school environments
