FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - WREXHAM

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Wrexham, this is a day shift position Monday to Friday (39 hours per week), and the salary is up to £50,000 per annum (DOE).

Whilst the primary focus of this role will be maintaining facilities and building services, you may also be needed to help out with other day to day maintenance issues that arise across a manufacturing site.

Previous experience from within the Manufacturing sector is ESSENTIAL

What You Will Do:

• Carry out general facilities and building maintenance across the manufacturing site, keeping equipment and work areas in safe, working order.
• Respond to day-to-day maintenance needs such as plumbing tasks, leak repairs, and basic infrastructure fixes.
• Support planned checks and minor repairs to prevent issues from impacting production.
• Maintain a tidy, compliant working environment by following site procedures and safety requirements.
• Work with internal teams to understand priorities and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Escalate more complex faults appropriately, ensuring nothing is overlooked.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience in general maintenance or facilities/building support within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Practical skills covering everyday repairs, including plumbing and leak fixing.
• A calm, proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
• A clear commitment to health and safety and reliable, punctual working habits.
• The ability to work independently when required, while also supporting wider site needs.
