Overhead Crane (3 shift rotation) – Wednesbury

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Overhead Crane Operator – to join our well-established client based in Wednesbury. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive business on a ongoing basis.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an OHC Operator, Crane Operator or Coil loader.

Shifts

• 06.00 – 14.00 Monday to Thursday
• 06.00 – 12.00 Friday

• 14.00 – 22.00 Monday to Thursday
• 12.00 – 18.00 Friday

• 22.00 – 06.00 (Monday to Thursday)
• 18.00 – 00.00 ( Friday)

Weekly rotation - not set shifts

Pay rate:

• £13.49 am & pm
• £16.18 nights
• £18.88 OT 1
• £24.28 OT2

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Forklift Driver – your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  •  Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely
  •  Loading and unloading machines
  •  Manual handling of products
  •  Supporting goods movement
  •  Keeping the warehouse clean and organised

Essential Skills

To be successful as a OHC operator – you will need:

  •  Overhead experience (steel industry ideally)
  •  Comfortable with manual handling
  •  Good reliability and work ethic
  •  Ability to work effectively within a team
  •  Strong attention to detail

  •  Full training provided
  •  Ongoing development support
