TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large school based in Cardiff that provides a welcoming environment for pupils of mixed ages and abilities. The school is looking for a positive and committed Teaching Assistant who can become a valued part of the school community.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis from September, working approximately 10 hours per week across mornings. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across mixed age groups and abilities with general classroom duties, with ALN experience and experience supporting with personal care both desirable.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children and young people in an education setting

• Experience supporting pupils with ALN is desirable

• Experience supporting with personal care is desirable

• A caring and patient approach

• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
