KS1 / KS2 PPA Cover Teacher – L21

We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work at a Primary School in Liverpool (L21) on a long-term basis, starting immediately.

The KS1 / KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role will run until July 2026. This position is for 5 full days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.

As a KS1 / KS2 PPA Cover Teacher, you will work across all year groups, providing PPA cover as required. You will be issued with a weekly timetable and will work closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Your role & responsibilities:

• Teaching pupils and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work
• Managing behaviour effectively
• Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

• Relevant experience teaching pupils
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Passionate, patient, and understanding approach
• Confidence in managing whole classes
• Excellent organisational skills to manage marking and planning
• Strong communication skills
