Warehouse Operative - Paisley

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Paisley.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, consistent hours, and the chance to secure a long-term role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Parcel Sorter, Picker Packer, or Distribution Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Overtime may be available depending on site requirements

Shift Pattern:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• 05:00 start
• Ongoing work available
• Start date: Imminent
• Applicants must be fully available to work the above shift pattern on an ongoing basis

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work:

• Loading and unloading parcels and freight
• Sorting parcels accurately for dispatch
• Moving goods safely around the warehouse
• Preparing items for delivery routes
• Manual handling, including lifting, bending, and moving stock
• Working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team where required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, loading, unloading, or distribution experience is desirable
• Be comfortable conducting manual handling operations
• Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to ongoing work
• Good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and site processes
• Own transport due to the 05:00 start time
• Available to work Tuesday to Saturday on an ongoing basis

Training:

• Registration and compliance process completed through People Solutions prior to start date
• Ongoing support from the People Solutions recruitment team
