Licensing Team Leader

Salary:£50,696 – £53,953 per annum negotiable

Hours: 37 hours per week, 3 days in the office 2 WFH

Contract: 12 weeks with view for extension

Location: Welwyn Hatfield, Hertfordshire

We are looking for an experienced Licensing Team Leader to join our Regulatory Services team.

You will need significant experience in licensing, administration and enforcement, with knowledge across areas such as:

• Taxi Licensing
• Alcohol Licensing
• Sexual Entertainment Venues
• Pavement Licensing
• Animal Activities
• Gambling

What we’re looking for:

• Degree-level education or extensive relevant experience in licensing administration, enforcement or another regulatory role.
• Strong experience working within licensing and regulatory services.
• Ability to manage your workload effectively and meet statutory deadlines.
• Confidence to reprioritise work quickly while understanding the legal processes surrounding enforcement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public, colleagues and the business community.
• Strong record-keeping and note-taking skills.

Essential: You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a motor vehicle.
