We're currently recruiting for a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a supportive secondary school/alternative provision in Northumberland on a long-term basis, starting in September. This role is available on a temporary, permanent or temp-to-perm basis. This rewarding role involves providing dedicated one-to-one support for a student who requires additional help to manage their behaviour, regulate their emotions and fully engage in education. You'll become a consistent, trusted adult, helping to build confidence, reduce barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom. You'll be joining a committed staff team that takes a trauma-informed and relationship-led approach, recognising that positive behaviour is built through trust, consistency and understanding.
