We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Chorlton to join welcoming secondary schools on a long-term, short-term, or temp-to-perm basis. Your Main Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, responding to their individual learning needs

• Delivering intervention and catch-up sessions to help students close learning gaps

• Working alongside teachers to support lesson delivery and adapt learning resources where required

• Promoting an inclusive classroom where every student feels supported, engaged, and valued

• Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and additional learning needs where appropriate

• Building positive relationships with students, teachers, and pastoral staff to encourage confidence, engagement, and progress

Requirements or Skills

• A recent university graduate – all degree subjects considered

• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching

• Recent experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

• Solid numeracy and literacy skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working collaboratively as part of a team

• Based in or able to commute to Chorlton

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
