We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a busy construction site in Winchester. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established team on an ongoing project, offering consistent work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out all aspects of external groundworks.
• Installing and working on block and beam flooring systems.
• Excavation, drainage, kerbing, edging, and finishing works as required.
• Preparing and levelling ground ready for construction.
• Working from site drawings and following instructions from site management.
• Operating safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
• Adhering to all site health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Working collaboratively with site management, plant operators, and other trades to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Assisting with general site duties when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in all aspects of groundworks, particularly external works and block and beam installation.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of health & safety on construction sites.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work.
