HGV Class 2 Driver – Immediate Starts | £17.50 per hour | Temp to Perm

Looking for a driving role with long-term prospects and full training?

KPI Recruiting are currently looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join one of our well-established clients based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential to become permanent.

You'll be delivering animal feed to farms and agricultural sites across the UK using specialist blower equipment. Don't worry if you've never used a blower attachment before – full training will be provided.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rolling 3-week rota:

Week 1

• Monday
• Tuesday
• Friday
• Saturday

Week 2

• Monday to Thursday

Week 3

• Wednesday to Saturday

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering animal feed to customers across the UK. The role involves operating a blower attachment (full training provided) and assisting with unloading and reloading where required. Some manual handling and handball will be involved, so you'll need to be comfortable with a physically active role.

What we're looking for

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and the Working Time Directive (WTD)
• Flexible approach to working days and shift patterns
• No IN, DD or DR endorsements
• Safety boots, hi-vis vest and dust mask required

Pay

• £17.50 per hour
• Paid weekly via PAYE every Friday
