We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support secondary schools across Derby from September. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions, and assist students on a one-to-one and small group basis. This Teaching Assistant role offers flexible day-to-day opportunities with the potential to progress into long-term placements. The successful Teaching Assistant will be confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people throughout their educational journey.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• At least 6 months' experience working within a UK education setting
• Experience supporting students within a secondary school environment
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• The ability to build positive working relationships with students and colleagues
• A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential
