Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Wednesbury area.

THE ROLE

• MIG Welding mild steel in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, butt weld)
• Read and interpret to basic engineering drawings
• Experience with jig and fixture-based welding in a production setting
• Carry out preparation including cleaning, grinding and tacking components

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in MIG welding on mild steel to a good standard
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Ideally be able to use workshop machinery and tools (e.g. brake press, guillotine, hand/power tools)
• Reliable and consistent in work produced.

HOURS OF WORK

Monday – Thursday

07.30am - 16.30pm

Friday

07:30am - 12:30pm

(39 hours per week)

Pay Rate

£13.50 - £14.00
