What You Could Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

  • Helping teachers deliver engaging and accessible lessons.

  • Encouraging pupils to stay focused, motivated and confident.

  • Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH.

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.

  • Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour.

  • Developing confidence in behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.

  • Helping pupils overcome academic, social and emotional barriers.

  • Supporting classroom preparation and organising learning resources.

  • Monitoring pupil engagement and celebrating progress.

  • Gaining valuable experience across different year groups and school settings.
