Salary: £90 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and supportive Primary School in Whitley Bay. The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a temporary basis with an ASAP start. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged with pre-planned work and maintaining a positive learning environment throughout the school day.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with children within a Primary School setting

• The confidence to lead and supervise classes across KS1 and KS2

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments

• A proactive and positive approach to supporting learning
