SEN Learning Support Assistant

Milk Education are working with a supportive mainstream primary school in Lambeth to recruit an SEN Learning Support Assistant.

You'll support pupils with additional learning needs, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally within an inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Adapt classroom activities where required.
• Encourage independence and engagement.
• Work alongside teaching staff and the SENDCo.
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.

About You

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Understanding of SEND is advantageous.
• Caring and patient nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for supporting children's development.
