EYFS Teaching Assistant – Long Buckby and surrounding areas

Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking qualified EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across Foundation Years (Nursery and Reception) within mainstream primary schools across Long Buckby and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced EYFS professionals who are passionate about early childhood development and are looking for flexible or longer-term work within supportive school environments.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS settings
• Working with individuals and small groups to promote engagement and progress
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider EYFS team

Requirements:

• Relevant EYFS qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
• Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English
• Experience working across EYFS within school settings
• A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills
