Considering Teacher Training?

Graduates planning a PGCE or QTS can gain invaluable classroom experience through school-based roles, building confidence and practical teaching skills before training.

Candidate Requirements

To register, applicants must:

• Hold a relevant UK qualification (or verified overseas equivalent)
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Commit to safeguarding children and young people
• Complete all required safer recruitment and compliance checks

Overseas Applicants

Applicants who have lived or worked outside the UK in the last five years will usually need an Overseas Police Clearance Certificate. Overseas qualifications may also require:

• A UK ENIC Statement of Comparability
• Certified English translations (if applicable)
