The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site based in ST5.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for ongoing, stable work with immediate starts available, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Please note: This role involves working in a freezer environment at temperatures of up to -18°C for a couple of hours a day, therefore the ability to work in these conditions is essential. Full PPE is provided, including thermal jackets and protective clothing suitable for low temperatures

Shift Patterns & Working Days

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Reach Truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Using a Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) where required
• Transporting goods across warehouse and freezer areas
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking and moving stock accurately
• Following all health & safety and site procedures
• Supporting general warehouse duties when needed

Requirements

• Valid Reach Truck licence – essential
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a Reach Truck – essential
• PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) experience/licence – preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse or food production environment
• Must be comfortable working in freezer temperatures when needed(-18°C)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work set shift patterns
• Available to start immediately
