The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across a range of subjects.
• Support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Help to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt resources and tasks to meet individual learning needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Offer pastoral support, helping to build students’ confidence and resilience.
• Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree (or is currently studying) – desirable but not essential.
• Has a genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
• Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Has experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
• Is considering a career in teaching, SEN, or educational psychology.
