We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to open and lead a new 4-bed Children’s Residential home in Coalville, Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing provider and play a key role in shaping a new service, supporting Children and Young People with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will be supported by an experienced Deputy Manager and Regional Manager.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the development and day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the home to deliver outstanding care and outcomes
• Creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people
• Managing safeguarding, care planning and compliance with regulations
• Building, developing and leading a high-performing staff team
• Overseeing budgets and ensuring effective financial management
• Driving continuous improvement and service development

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Children’s Residential Care at a senior level
• Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
• Strong understanding of Children’s Home Regulations and safeguarding
• Experience managing budgets and team performance
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to undertake on-call duties
