Maths Teacher – Community Provision (London) Are you a qualified Maths Teacher looking for a more meaningful, relationship-focused role outside of a traditional classroom? Do you have experience supporting pupils with autism, SEMH or those disengaged from mainstream education? Ready to work in a unique community-based setting where your impact goes far beyond academics? A specialist education provider is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their innovative community provision across London. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working with pupils who have experienced barriers to mainstream education, including exclusions and non-attendance. In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalised Maths lessons in community settings, both face-to-face and online. You will work closely with a team of Therapeutic Education Practitioners (Learning Mentors), supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, attachment difficulties and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. This provision takes a therapeutic approach to education, placing strong emphasis on relationships, emotional wellbeing and consistent support. You will play a key role in helping pupils re-engage with learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills alongside academic progress. Key responsibilities include:
You will also take on a small leadership responsibility, line managing a team of Learning Mentors, supporting their development and ensuring high standards of support for pupils across your cluster.
