Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver (Temp to Perm)
Location: Wem, Shropshire
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 6:00am – 9:00am

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to work on behalf of a recycling company based in Wem, Shropshire. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, meaning after 12 weeks you will transfer over to the customer for a permanent role.

This role involves the collection of used tyres from a variety of locations. It is a physically demanding position, as drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading tyres.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle to complete daily collection routes

• Collecting used tyres from business units, garages, farms, and other commercial sites

• Completing approximately 5–10 collections per day

• Loading and unloading tyres at each location

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 3 months Class 2 driving experience

• No previous disqualifications

• No DD or DR endorsements

• Physically fit due to the manual handling involved
