Teaching Assistant

Location: Bedford

Type: Temporary - until April or June (workload dependant)

Salary: £12.21 per hour – Weekly Pay, Term-Time Only

Hours: Part & Full Time hours - between 8.45am - 4.20pm

We are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join our client’s team in Bedford. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact in a dedicated educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND.
• Adapt learning activities and materials to meet individual needs.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development.
• Assist in monitoring and recording progress.
• Promote an inclusive and positive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service essential.
• Level 2 in Maths and English & Level 3 qualification in care-based topic.
• Experience working with young people, ideally with SEND.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
