KPI Education is recruiting exceptional Psychology graduates to join a high-performing secondary school in Barnet as SEN Teaching Assistants. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain practical, school-based experience that is directly relevant to specialist roles within the SEN, mental health, and education sectors.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school’s SEN team to support students with a range of additional needs—including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, or mental health needs. Your role will involve:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and differentiated resources.
  • Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Delivering targeted interventions to boost confidence, independence, and engagement.
  • Helping to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
  • Participating in enrichment and mentoring activities.

This position provides invaluable insight into SEN practice, assessment, intervention strategies, and student support frameworks used by schools.
