Student Services Coordinator

Location: Kettering

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary (Sickness Cover), ASAP Start

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

We’re looking for an organised and approachable Student Services Coordinator to join a busy, student-focused team on a temporary basis.

About the Role

You’ll work on the front line of student support, helping learners, staff, and visitors with a range of enquiries. Main duties include:

• Providing one-to-one guidance and support to students on finance, welfare, and careers.
• Maintaining key systems for financial support, enrolment, and careers information.
• Delivering group talks and workshops on student support topics.
• Handling queries, offering advice, and signposting to other services.
• Supporting events such as enrolment and open evenings (occasional evening work may be required).

Essential Requirements

• Valid Enhanced DBS
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment
• Experience supporting young people and adults, individually and in groups, ideally in Education setting
• Experience organising events or activities
• GCSEs (A–C / Level 2) in English and Maths
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
