Compliance Officer

up to £32,000 per annum 

Fixed Term Contract 12 Months

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about good governance? We’re recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join a well-established insurer. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring regulatory standards are met and embedded across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out formal compliance reviews and inspections
• Advising teams on regulatory requirements and best practices
• Reviewing customer-facing documents and internal policies
• Monitoring new and emerging regulations and helping the business respond
• Supporting data protection and financial crime prevention activities
• Providing input on legal contracts and conduct management structures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and reporting skills – written and verbal
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Some understanding of FCA regulations (e.g. ICOBS, COBS, DISP, SUP) – desirable
• Experience in insurance or financial services – desirable
• Organised, analytical, and able to work independently
• Willingness to study towards a compliance or risk qualification (if not already held)
